This precious gift for Mary combined the egg design on the top of the Limoges box with more chinoiserie and tulips around the sides. Inside was inscribed with the saying from the couple’s save-the-date card: “Came
for friendship, took away love . . .” by Thomas Moore. Mary was deeply touched to have a keepsake of her special day.
